School Holidays In Tasmania


Summer holidays are between mid-December to late January. There are also 2 week breaks between terms, usually in mid-April, early July and late September. Students also get Easter breaks from Good Friday to Easter Tuesday.

Summer


You can expect sunny days in December, with the temperature being at its highest between January and February. You'll need to bring your sunscreen.

Autumn


The months of March and April have warm days and pleasant evenings, while May experiences several cool days as Winter is coming in. Autumn offers great camping weather, although you will need to pack warm clothes for the evenings.

Winter


Don't let the cold stop you. Make sure you have plenty of warm clothing and come over in winter. There are several events happening in June and July, and you can have winter fun in August.

Spring


Gardens will now bloom, with the warmer days of September and October. The nights can still be cool, so remember to bring warm clothes. It gets sunnier still in November so don't forget your sunscreen.
