Auckland is one of the sunniest cities in New Zealand, and it has hot, humid summers and pleasant but wet winters. The temperature is at its lowest between June and July, and at its highest in January to February. Visitors during summer are advised to bring hats and sunscreen to keep the heat away and if you're coming in during winter, bring a rain jacket and warm clothes.
