55 Pavilion Crescent Winnipeg, Manitoba R3P 2N6
Assiniboine Park is said to be the next Central Park - or maybe even surpass what New York has to offer! It was established in 1904, covering approximately 1,100 acres of land, 400 acres of which are devoted to an English landscape. Popular features include the Zoo, Nature Playground, Conservatory, Gardens, Pavillion Gallery Museum and the Stream Train.
Manitoba's annual and perennial flowers can be found at the park's English Garden, as well as the city's specialized floriculture. The Formal Garden, on the other hand, is Winnipeg's closest prototype of a French formal garden. Flowers, plants and trees foreign in Manitoba can be found at The Conservatory. Overall, Assiniboine Park is a recreation mecca that is relatively alluring and unpredictable - every corner has its own slice of adventure.
There are no admission fees for Assiniboine Park, the Assiniboine Park Conservatory, or the Pavilion Gallery Museum.
