Alexander Keith's Brewery was founded by Alexander Keith in 1820 in Halifax, and is presently one of the oldest commercial breweries in North America. Through the years, Keith defined the real taste of alcoholic beverage in the Nova Scotia region. Although Indian Pale Ale is the most famous brew, Alexander Keith's Brewery is also known for the Premium White, Red Amber Ale, Dark Ale, and the Light Ale.
