Expect hot summers and cold winters. The temperatures are at their lowest in January and February, although it can still be pretty chilly in March. Make sure you have your winter jackets and as many warm clothes as you can possibly pack.

Summer holidays are in July and August. There is also a week long break in March and a three week break in late December for the Christmas holidays.
