“The vehicle had so many defects it should not have been rented. The generator was unserviceable, the kitchen sink tap was broken, the frame of the bench seat was broken, the roof leaked, the air conditioning did not operate properly, there were items missing from the convenience kit the front night time curtain was broken and the vehicle had not been cleaned properly. Cruise Canada gave me $150 compensation. In the circumstances I have contacted the company and asked for $1000 compensation.”

“RV was quite dated with over 100 000 miles done. Engine was fine but interior was pretty tired.”

“Vehicle was in good condition but not new, we had a slow leak on a front tyre so had to top it up with air a few times. Would be good to have more equipment that we could hire. ”

“Overall it was great, although we felt that the kitchen supplies could have been better. We were a family of six and only 5 bowls were supplied, and we had to buy a larger cooking pot because the one supplied was too small. The tea-towels were also stupid because they left lint on everything - we had to buy new ones. And, we would have appreciated a toaster and a large ceramic bowl to use in the microwave. Other utensils like a whisk, potato peeler and cheese grater would also have been handy. ”

“We had a great experience, it was so nice and comfortable ! There were 2 small issues: 1. One drawer could not keep shut, kept opening 2. Sewer valve did not fully close, so always a small leak”

“very good experience for us and very convenient for big luggage space. it was very hard to park because of the size and no rear view camera. also many parking lot is not excepting over-sized car so had some difficult to drive around. the vehicle is clean but if they install broom in the vehicle its easy for us to maintain clean in side”

“vehicle lacks utensils especially microwaveable ones. had a hard time cooking with the microwave. There was supposed to be a broom but could not find it. the company wants us to return the vehicle clean. How can we do that w/o equipment. our food stores broken into by rats? kept some packet soups in drawer and found some animals bit through them. it snowed. In the morning we tried to leave the campground but got stuck in the snow. a shovel might help or some information on how to help get out?”

“The city water is not working for the whole time and the kettle is not in the RV. ”

“The vehicle was okay but I unfortunately spent the first day cleaning it. The cushions and seats were also very dirty with stains. The matras of the double bed was very uncomfortable, was somewhat ‘ broken’ (by lack of a better word) one side. ”

“There was a small leak on the grey water outlet pipe under the vehicle, nothing major, but it had previously been taped up rather than repaired properly. I reported it as soon as we were aware, and told to drive back to Calgary. This was not necessary as we resolved with a small bucket and it stopped anyway. Driving back to Calgary would have ruined our holiday. I think customer service could have done a better job of trying to understand the issue and look for alternative options. ”

“Reasonable price!! But car condition is not so good Much dust, some valves clogged, sewage doesn't work well Besides all bad things, my family really love our RV WE SHARE EVERYTHING OF THEM Really happy and memorable trip for 7 days I recommend it😀😀😀”

“Elderly vehicle which had seen better days - staining on seats and battered woodwork. Still, at least it didn’t breakdown.”

“Vehicle steering pulled to right otherwise vehicle was acceptable and comfortable to ride in, all appliances operated properly.Bedding supplied was inadequate and heavily worn,caused us to purchase additional bedding along the journey.Main bed mattress was very uncomfortable and vinyl wrapper caused bedding to slip. We were charged a fee for cleaning the exterior of the vehicle because the depot attendant believed it to have more road grime on it than it should.”

“The RV had obviously been used as it had cosmetic marks inside and out, but was clean and everything worked as it should, with the exception of the black water indicator which read half full when actually empty. ”

“Was very pleased with the vehicle and the depot service, quick & efficient. One small issue, why do you send out a vehicle with 7 berths yet the vehicle provisioning kit only has 6 place settings?”

“Vehicle was really nice and clean. The heater broke halfway through our trip but the depot were really helpful and happy to reimburse us for the inconvenience. ”

“overall the vehicle worked well, but we had problems with locks. the main door remained blocked and only the dealer service was able to substitute the lock (Cruise Canada returned a full day cost for the inconvenience). Some other locks in stowage area did not worked and finally the toilet handlebar broke. the sewing pipe storage got loose and we lost the pipe, had to buy a new one (refunded by Cruise Canada). In general terms fine, but for the high cost I was expecting better. ”

“The vehicle was functional with enough space. With the big engine it wasn't possible to usw less than 26 liter per 100km. I had my consernces about driving that long vehicle (30ft, 9,2m), but it was not a problem at all. ”

“We had one of the older vehicles with 120k miles on the clock but it was still in very good condition with everything working and from what we could see on the roads, indistinguishable from the newer models. It had its fair share of "war wounds" from 6 years on the hire fleet but that's to be expected. ”

“Most of the interior cabinets were broken when we picked it up and kept opening and closing as we were driving. It was clean and tidy but having cupboards that didn't close was a big problem in an RV. ”

“If this RV was clean, I think its time to teach your staff how to clean. We spent a lot of time cleaning the RV inside, to get it op to our demands. The toilet tank was not empty, there was a plastic part clogging the "empty valve" so the toilet get clogged up the first day. The shower was discussing, maybe it has been clean with water, but not soap... The suspension / steering on front left side was not good. A lot of noises, and not precise steering when turning at slow speed.”

“The RV camper ok great fridge, heater a V10 it was hopeless up hills worst engine I have used. The $110.00 hire for personal a rip off the quality very poor wife had the buy another pillow mattress had vinyl cover terrible for $110.00 should be good quality The RV kit was bad the cheapest cutlery ever used, items missing frying pan was useless had the buy another. No way to make toast so I hope you look at my review and do something about it, but that will be unlikely. Regards George Simmons”
