Hukatere Lodge is located in the far north of New Zealand's North Island. Right on Ninety Mile Beach, alongside the extensive Aupouri Forest and convenient for sightseeing to Cape Reinga, there are numerous walks and activities nearby. The camping ground is located at the entrance to the property, welcomes hikers traversing the Te Araroa Trail with tents and parking at unpowered.

After the management advised you that accommodation at Hukatere Lodge is available, during peak periods a deposit of the cost of one night's stay (or full payment) may be required. The deposit may be paid by cheque or by transfer to the park's bank account. The park does not accept credit card payments.
