The Matata campsite offers a coastal setting with excellent fishing and swimming in a family campsite. The camp is adjacent to the Matata wildlife refuge, a haven for wetland bird species, with walking tracks and viewing areas.

No refunds will be issued at the campsite. Refunds are only issued in exceptional circumstances e.g. the closure of the camp due to a storm event and can be applied for by writing to the Programme Manager, Visitor Assets. Pay and register on arrival.
