The Glenorchy Hotel and Backpackers is situated at the head of Lake Wakatipu, just a short scenic drive from Queenstown. The Glenorchy Hotel offers a range of comfortable accommodation, including old worldly ensuite rooms, shared facility rooms and adjacent 'Backpackers Retreat' cottage accommodation, which is very popular with walkers both young and old. Campervans or self-contained vans are welcome to park at no cost if dining in the bar or restaurant.

Reservation and Cancellation Policy:
If you are making a booking request, credit card payment is required to allow the park to confirm your booking. Please note that the park will contact you to advise you of total cost prior to confirmation of your booking. Bookings are only valid for the dates confirmed. Penalty fees of 100% of the accommodation fee will apply to those who do not show on the dates confirmed. 7 days or more notice of cancellation - $20.00 cancellation fee payable. Less than 3 days notice of cancellation - 100% first night service fee and 50% of every consecutive night.
