The Sly Guard Cabin is located in the beautiful Eldorado National Forest. The cabin was constructed in the early 1940’s by the Forest Service as living quarters for the Sly Park Rangers or “guards". The cabin is close to many attractions including Sly Park Reservoir (Jenkinson Lake), Apple Hill, Historic Downtown Placerville, the historic mining town of Coloma and many wineries.
