Contrary to popular belief, Denver actually has a sunny climate and gets an average of 300 days of sunshine per year. However, due to its geographical location, the weather patterns are prone to quick changes. Despite this, the summers are warm and pleasant, with low humidity. Winters are sometimes very chilly, although this is usually regulated by chinook winds. Prepare for your self-drive holiday with our US Camping Checklist.
