West Lake Campground

West Lake Campground is located about 24 miles west of Highway 287 on the Red Feather Lakes Road at an elevation of 8,226 feet. The campground is situated in a large open stand of ponderosa pine and sagebrush on the south shore of West Lake. There are 35 sites in the campground. All of the campsites are suitable for RV camping. Campsites offer views of the lake or the mountains to the south. Some offer views of both. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring or grate.
