June ushers in the heat of summer, while July is still the hottest month of the year. The temperature can still be high in August, although the humidity through the season gives way to some rainfall in the afternoon. Pack an umbrella with your sunglasses and sunblock.
The warmth (and humidity) lingers until September, but October gives way to more pleasant days and cool evenings. Fall provides great weather for outdoor activities, although the nights can get cold so you'll need to bring some warm clothing. The temperature drops in November, a sign that the holidays are just around the corner.
December brings in the tourists and single-digit temperatures, however January is still the coldest month in the city. The cold continues until February, so if you're traveling during this season, you will need plenty of warm clothes and a positive attitude.
