Herrington Manor State Park is a hidden gem tucked away in Western Maryland! This park features a 53-acre lake and wooded trails, which are used for cross-country skiing in the winter and swimming, rowboats, canoes and paddle boats in the summer. Picnicking, hiking, tennis, volleyball are a few others activities enjoyed here. 20 furnished rustic log cabins can be rented year round. Popular special events such as maple syrup demonstrations, apple butter making and family fishing events are held throughout the year.
