Loup Power District operates and maintains five parks and recreation areas containing 265 acres of land and 1,100 acres of water. One of them is the Lake North Park, 14 acres with two beaches and two boat ramps adjoining a 200 acre lake. Offering camping, boating, skiing and swimming as well as picnic areas. The views and constant cool breeze off the lake make for good family fun on even the hottest summer days.
