Loup Power District operates and maintains five parks and recreation areas containing 265 acres of land and 1,100 acres of water One of them is the Tailrace Park located at the confluence of the District canal system and the Platte River. The Tailrace Park offers excellent fishing with playground equipment and primitive camping.
