Swimming is second nature at Airlie and you can either swim at Airlie Beach itself (great for families, BBQs or picnics) or head to the man-made Boathaven Beach to the east. If you’re staying at Airlie Beach, heading out into the beautiful Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef is a must.
