“Tired, rattle, fridge not working, accommodation air conditioning not effective, drawers coming apart, sink tap coming loose, not very clean all round, mattresses smelt sweaty, side window in second row seats too high for children to see out. Good cutlery and crockery. Good layout and canopy, good seats and table.”

“1. Right Headlight was blown when we left depot in adelaide 2. 15amp power cord was faulty had a cut in it and it gave me son an electrical shock, we had to tape it up to use it. 3. Drawers kept coming open while driving 4. Main bed wouldnt stay up on gas struts”

“it has everything you could possibly need! the back seat is a bit bumpy for long distances.”

“ We had 7 days of not been able to shower or use the toilet because of a constant smell of urine. That van was replaced in Darwin which when we drove away from the depot the fan belt started sqealing and there was a knock in the front left steer wheel, we took that van back having that replaced, which related in a total of 5 hours lost. We were also not impressed by the insurance fee of $940 that we were never told about.”

“1.The vehicle-very disappointing. Mattresses-disgusting, thin, hard and lumpy, uncomfortable. Two nights took painkillers for back pain.Pillows matched the mattresses. Befitted a goal cell. Very,very unhappy because night times were very difficult. 2.The vehicle was not a pleasure to drive .Auto very "clunky" and seemed in need of a service. 3. The water pump now not working .Fine until yesterday back blind fell down yesterday. 4. Water tank not filled prior to departure ”

“The vehicle concept is good. Especially the large bed makes it suitable for talk people. Realistic fuel consumption is 13.5 liters/100km. Unfortunately we first got a pretty warn out vehicle. Due to a A/C malfunction we had to change it after one week and lost half a day. The emergency number and the service backup from the offices in Menbourne and Sydney was engaged and committed. Thanks for that. Summary: watch out and check the vehicle carefully while taking it over.. ”

“We loved the experience of the campervan but not everything was as it should have been to make our trip the most enjoyable it could've been. The toaster didn't work, we didn't have a power cord supplied, the hose that connects to the water waste didn't fit, we weren't supplied with a pole to pull down the canopy on the side, there were screws coming lose on the door handle and where the table goes. The windows were hard to pull open and not good quality as parts were falling off. ”

“Vehicle was older than I thought it would be. Toilet was very smelly when we picked the vehicle up and needed a good clean. Inside of the awning full of debris when we first opened it. This should have been cleaned before we got the vehicle. Safe was locked and we were unable to use this. Again this should have been checked prior to us using the van.”

“We booked a Britz van and received a Maui van. The van had a broken shelf in the door which kept falling out once we put things in it, the water pump made an excessive noise and we had to keep filling it up - it had an airlock issue and only worked when completely full of water, so we carried water mostly, the bin lugs were broken and the bin kept falling out of the cupboardonce it had weight in the bin. The van drove OK. Beds were comfortable, gas stove was good, ample cupboards, linen was good”

“very easy to handle and drive ,plenty of storage space reasonably good fuel mileage ,reasonably good water supply ,but overall for a first time experience quite good ”

“VW Crafter has no layout for fuses. The fuse for the radio blew and without a layout diagram you have to remove up to 40 fuses to locate the blown one or get it done by an auto electrician. ”

“Maintenance problems: cupboard door hinges need fixing. Curtains need cleaning. Hooks on curtains had to be replaced during our travels. TV cords were extremely dangerous. Exposed wiring. These were replaced by ourselves. This has been reimbursed by the depot in Perth. Break down telephone responses were very efficient in Kalgoorlie. ”

“Camper a bit tired in the interior resulting in drawers and the fridge door opening while driving. One draw came right out breaking 3 wine glasses plus another glass. We managed to jam them shut a certain amount which helped but if it was a rough road my wife had to stay in the back to keep shutting them. Nothing wrong with the cleanliness of the vehicle but quality wise it was pretty poor. ”

“Always ensure that the hatch above the overhead cabin is closed prior to washing and this will ensure bed area is dry.”

“Britz changed our 4berth campervan from The Explorer to 6 berth The Frontier without send us advance notice. The narrow channel of interior, we don't like it. The third day, Campervan's "dynamos" has problem and cannot be repaired. After hard negotiation, Britz sent a campervan to replace it. The floor of second campervan is dirty.”

“Nice and spacious the air conditioner was a life saver.well appointed and easy to drive. Would rent again.”

“We were not shown how to work the vehicle properly. Hot water did not work when we checked it before leaving so we had to get it fix and wait for repairs. We were not given a lead to plug in to power at our destinations. We did not know that we had to switch off power if we were not plugged in so we had a flat battery. The bed linen was not clean.C Van was clean and tidy. Very good appliances and well equipped. Excellent on road assistance. Bedding was comfortable.”

“1st van replaced due to engine management fault, Free Help Line hopeless and expensive! 2nd van had faulty fridge. Equipment missing on both! Poor & expensive!”

“Van broke down after 250km. Supplied replacement after 4.5 hrs wait. Depot very supportive and compensated willingly”

“The only setback was the lack of instructions at the counter(I.e we don't know how to return the keys). Nevertheless, e customer service is superb!”
