Poley's Place is a working cattle property and primitive camping ground located on the banks of the beautiful Barrington River. Situated eight kilometres from Gloucester along the picturesque Thunderbolts Way, the property comprises over 500 acres of rich grazing land including five acres of rain forest only a five minute walk from the camping ground.

"Wangan" as the area was originally known by local Aborigines, meaning water views, can be enjoyed from the higher vantage points of Grannies Lookout and Grandpa’s Lookout. For the less energetic who are looking to relax by the waters edge, there are many secluded camping spots with shady willows and river oaks.

Open all year round, Poley's Place is pet friendly and hosts Country Music Hoedowns over Easter and October long weekends.
