Famous for having been designed by a convict architect, Hyde Park Barracks Museum had too many occupants in its lifetime. Housing convict men, women immigrants, and becoming an asylum for the detached, this National Heritage building has now become a museum about itself. Videos, photos, artifacts and a bunch load of goodies offer tourists a peek of what Hyde Park Barracks really is all about. Guided and group tours are available upon request, or visitors may tour on their own for an intensifying barracks experience.
