The park is also very close to the mouth of the river and the famous Tathra Wharf, within walking distance of the shops and bowling, tennis and golf clubs. Tathra offers excellent boat launching and fish cleaning facilities.

The park has cabins known as the Surf Villas located adjacent to the beach. There are grassed sites for caravans and tents. To add a little camping luxury there is a large camp kitchen with free cooking facilities.
