It is Australia's first Virtual Women's Museum that houses a collection of stories, photographs, artifacts, and memorabilia focused on pioneering women in their respective field. More than a hundred Australian women have already been featured in the museum, along with their extraordinary stories and achievements. Some exhibitions found inside the gaol building includes the "Ordinary Women, Extraordinary Lives – Women First In Their Field", "Women at the Heart" and "Women's Work of Yesteryear". A non-profit organization dedicated in preserving the place of women in history is the first of its kind, with three other museums operating in some parts of Australia.
