Broadwater camping area, in Abergowrie State Forest, provides a large, open, grassy setting surrounded by tall, open eucalypt forests.

Book by phone on 13 QGOV (13 74 68) or Book online (most camping areas can be booked online). Booking at least six weeks in advance is recommended.

At some parks and forests, you can pay your fees at a self-registration shelter. Self-registration and on-site payment of camping fees is used in parks and forests where camper numbers are usually low (less than 40 per cent of campground capacity) and where online or phone bookings do not meet visitor needs.

Bookings may be altered, subject to availability, if sufficient notice is given. Bookings can be cancelled but you may not be entitled to a refund.

There are 2 more large open areas in the camping area. Fires are only permitted in the fire rings provided. Campers need to bring firewood as it is no longer supplied and must not be collected from Abergowrie State forest. Essentials to bring are fire wood, insect repellent and rubbish bags.
