Large, open grassy area with vehicle access to sites. This is a popular, well-developed area close to private facilities; including a restaurant, small general store and holiday accommodation. A public phone is available nearby.

A family group is up to two adults and accompanying children under 18, up to a total of eight people. School children on approved excursions are charged $2.90 each.

Reservations:
Book by phone on 13 QGOV (13 74 68) or Book online (most camping areas can be booked online). Booking at least six weeks in advance is recommended.

At some parks and forests, you can pay your fees at a self-registration shelter. Self-registration and on-site payment of camping fees is used in parks and forests where camper numbers are usually low (less than 40 per cent of campground capacity) and where online or phone bookings do not meet visitor needs.

Bookings may be altered, subject to availability, if sufficient notice is given. Bookings can be cancelled but you may not be entitled to a refund.

Operating Hours

Bunya Mountains National Park is open 24 hours a day. The information centre at Dandabah is open from 2 pm to 4 pm weekdays, park duties permitting.
