Expedition National Park is part of the Central Queensland Sandstone Belt. Most of the park is covered by dry eucalypt forest, the mature spotted gum forest being the only intact forest of this type.

$5.30 per person per night
$21.30 per family per night.
Children under five are free.
A family group is up to two adults and accompanying children under 18, up to a total of eight people. School children on approved excursions are charged $2.90 each.

Reservations:
Book by phone on 13 QGOV (13 74 68) or Book online (most camping areas can be booked online). Booking at least six weeks in advance is recommended.
At some parks and forests, you can pay your fees at a self-registration shelter. Self-registration and on-site payment of camping fees is used in parks and forests where camper numbers are usually low (less than 40 per cent of campground capacity) and where online or phone bookings do not meet visitor needs.
Cancellations:
Bookings may be altered, subject to availability, if sufficient notice is given. Bookings can be cancelled but you may not be entitled to a refund.
