Kingfisher Park Birdwatchers Lodge consists of fully self-contained units, bunkhouse rooms and campground located in a rainforest nature reserve. It's an hour and a half drive north-west of Cairns, in the rural community of Julatten at an altitude of 440 metres making it cooler than nearby coastal regions.

The lodge is ideal for nature based activities such as bird watching and wildlife photography. It has walking tracks through five hectares (12 acres) of grounds consisting of rainforest, open grassed orchard and permanent waters of Bushy Creek.

Cancellations must be in writing. Deposits will be refunded if more than 21 days notice given. Less than 21 days notice no refund of deposit will be given unless accommodation is re-let for the entire period of the original booking.
