South Bruny National Park used to be a Tasmanian secret, until word got out of its natural wonders and scenic attributes. Only a 20-minute car-ferry ride from the port of Kettering, the island comprises of towering cliffs, gardens of kelp seaweed, muttonbird rookeries, and its long sandy beaches. The park's popularity as a favorite hot spot in Hobart may be due to the abundance of birdlife, coastal heathland, and its remarkable part in the making of Hobart's history. A few days on the island seem ideal, for there are a lot of things yet to be explored and discovered. Snap away at the glimpse of whales, dolphins, and seals peeking underneath the ocean.
