Cable Beach, Western Australia 6726
How can one beach be so beautiful? With its clear turquoise water and over 22 kilometres of pristine white sand, Cable Beach is one of nature's most dazzling treasures. The beach was named after the undersea telegraph cable that stretches from Java to Broome, and is known for the camel rides that operate at sunset daily. There are lifeguards between 9AM to 4PM, so you can go for a swim anytime during the daytime. Just remember to take extra caution when visiting anytime between November through March, since box jellyfish usually show up during these months. Cable Beach is home to a nudist beach and is also close to Minyirr Park, a coastal reserve where you can learn about Aboriginal culture. There's plenty to do in Cable Beach, a true Western Australia gem.
